In 1989 I was the first African American hire in the district that included Bibb, Peach, and Twiggs counties. My responsibilities encompassed a range of law enforcement, investigative, and fiduciary duties that require a strong commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and the welfare of the community where I served.

My role as a state-certified peace officer and fiduciary agent for the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole was essential to maintaining public safety, promoting rehabilitation, and contributing to the fair and just administration of the criminal justice system. My commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and the well-being of both the community and individuals under my supervision was paramount in achieving positive outcomes.
